
Woollahra Sailing Club acknowledges that we are on the land of the Birrabirragal people, the traditional custodians of the land. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging.
Rose Bay Adventure Club is a one-day holiday program camp running at Woollahra Sailing Club for 7- to 14-year-olds. The camp a fun, social and action-packed day filled with sand, sea and water action! Children always wear a life jacket on the water but need to be competent in the water. No sailing experience needed.
They participate in activities such as sailing, kayaks, SUP and windsurfing in the picturesque waters of Rose Bay. The participants learn about boat and water safety, basic sailing and rigging, maritime skills such as knot tying, reading a compass and wind directions. Todays camp- Thursday July 18th the kids will also go on a whale spotting adventure.
They will travel by powerboat over to Watson's Bay and walk the South Head Heritage Trail to the perfect vantage point to see (hopefully) many of the migrating whales this season.
Bring your binoculars! This is sure to be a fun adventure camp day.
