Start Powerboating Course - this is an Australian Sailing accredited course run by certified instructors
1 Online Theory Session mid-week (3 hours)
1 Day, 9am to 5pm (may finish early depending on the group)
Once complete, you can take your certificate to Service NSW to obtain your license.

Course Overview
Your powerboating pathway begins here, introducing you to practical driving skills, trip planning, boat maintenance, safety equipment and dealing with emergency situations. In some instances, you can take your completion certificate to your State Maritime Regulator and gain the State Boat License.

Water confident.
Who should do this course?
This course is designed for participants who wish to drive a powerboat, following the course you will have sufficient skills and knowledge to skipper a small powerboat. All the equipment and gear will be provided by your accredited Discover Sailing Centre.
Course Outcome
You will gain your Start Powerboating completion certificate.
