Optimist Class racing including Club Championship

Woollahra Sailing Club is excited to welcome all 'Off the Beach' Sailing Classes to the 2025-2026 Spring and Summer Season in what promises to be one of the biggest and best series yet!

Woollahra Sailing Club Spring & Summer series dates September 6^th 2025 - 12th April 2026 (Moth/Waszp/49er,FX & General Fleet)

Optimist Spring series dates 7th September 2025 30^th November 2025 (Optimist Open & Intermediate)

Optimist Summer series dates 8th February 2026 - 12th April 2026 (Optimist Open & Intermediate)

Registration
All boats must register online prior to competing. Registration is free to Club Members. You will need to be logged in to the portal to register. Members already have a login. Any questions regarding login to the portal please contact [email protected].

Entrants will need to register once for each boat and will need to record crew details for double handed classes. You will need to register to be included in the results as this logs you on to the Series. Crew do not need to register separately. Parents can register and enter the Series on behalf of their children.

* Members: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Green [Book] button. You will need to login if you are not already logged in.
* Non-Members: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Green [Select] button. You will need to login if you are not already logged in. If you have not already done so you will need to create an account. $25 per session per boat. There is a discount to non-members entering for an entire Series.

The full race schedule is available via the NoRs

The first warning signal on each day of racing will be:
* Saturday -------- Moth/Waszp/49er, FX - 15:00 warning signal
* Sunday -------- General Fleet - 13:30 warning signal
* Sunday -------- Optimist Fleet - 13:00 warning signal (Please view Spring or Summer Optimist NOR for Spring or Summer Series Optimist Club Racing dates)

Duty roster and Volunteering

Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to contact the club if this is something you are interested in. There are volunteer positions available to support Club Racing both on and off the water and training will be provided where needed to support you.
