Goals
- Give sailors the opportunity to share their love of the sport with the women and girls in their lives
- Connect and meet other sailors across classes and age groups
- Learn new skills
- Try something different
- Foster their passion for the sport of sailing
Who can come?
Everyone beyond learn to sail (eg. green adventure and above) is welcome to join us. Whilefocused on bringing and keeping more women and girls in sailing, we need the support of everyone to do that. All men and boys are welcome provided you support the goals of this event.
How much does the weekend cost?
$35 per person
In order to keep costs down we are keeping the weekend mostly self-catered and relying on permanent staff and volunteers. The price per person is to cover some of the costs of fuel, afternoon tea and materials for the sessions. If you are unable to make it but would like to support the cause, you can purchase a 'donation ticket' which will be used to improve what we can provide and ongoing event sustainability.
