June Update
Published 11:57 on 29 Jun 2024
Welcome to the June update for 2024.
We had a great turn out for the start of the winter series, with great numbers across a mix of fleets. The day was a spectacular one and followed by a great afternoon at the end of season awards presentation and social event.
Congratulations to all of those who received awards on the day. The photos of the event can be found at the link below:

You may recently have noticed two new friendly faces around the club lately. That would be Vaimo'oi'a Ripley, a very talented championship female sailor from Samoa and Vili Ratulu, an equally talented sailor from Fiji.
These two have found them selves qualifiers in the upcoming Paris Olympics. They have been based here at WSC while they continue training for the event.
If you see them at the club, please make them feel welcome and wish them luck as they represent their respective country in July on the world stage.
Good luck Vili and Vai.
Sadly we have had a couple of instances where people have used members boats and equipment and things have been misplaced or damaged. While we take all care to try and provide safe storage for all members, as a facility providing you 24 hour access, this can sometimes be difficult.
With the help of our security and CCTV system we have been able to time consumingly locate missing equipment and identify people who have used others boats/equipment.
We would like to remind our members to please be respectful of others property and not use boats or equipment that does not belong to you.
Please ensure your boats, foils, mats etc are labelled. Our friendly staff will assist in providing new labels if you need any.
