Rose Bay Adventure Camp and Dragon boating - July 17th

We have teamed up with Dragon boats east to provide a unique day camp experience. Let your kids try the inclusive sport of dragon boating, learning to paddle to the beat and participate in on-water games such as the tug of war.

The kids will then spend the afternoon sailing or boating on Sydney Harbour.

The camp runs 9-3pm.

Kids need to wear clothes that can get wet, water shoes (crocs or old runners) a towel and warm clothes.

BYO lunch and snacks.

This camp is for kids 10 years + and no experience is necessary.

Rose Bay Adventure Club is a one-day holiday program camp running at Woollahra Sailing Club for 7- to 14-year-olds. The camp a fun, social and action-packed day filled with sand, sea and water action! Children always wear a life jacket on the water but need to be competent in the water. No sailing experience needed. They participate in activities such as sailing, kayaks, SUP and windsurfing in the picturesque waters of Rose Bay. The participants learn about boat and water safety, basic sailing and rigging, maritime skills such as knot tying, reading a compass and wind directions. We are lucky to have Easts Dragon bots joining us for the sessions for a morning or dragon boating.Kids will paddle to the beat and participate in games such as tug of war out on these spectacular and theatrical boats. A great introduction to a social and inclusive sport.

The camps run 9am to 3pm with the option of a later pick up at 4pm for an additional fee of $20.

All equipment and life vests are provided. Shoes and hats are compulsory. Please bring:

  • swimmers
  • shoes that can get wet
  • towel
  • long sleeve rashie or top
  • change of clothes
  • sunscreen
  • refillable water bottle
  • wet suit
  • lunch and snacks
