WSC update – April 23 2020

Membership and storage renewals – prize draw – holiday for two on Hamilton island

It is time to renew memberships. The Club’s financial position is solid post the significant investment in 2019 to build the ramp and pontoon. However, the Club’s future would be grim without its primary source of funds which is membership and storage fees. The timing is not ideal but we appreciate the prompt payment of your membership and storage fees. Most fees remain unchanged from last year.

If you pay your membership by 31 May 2020 your name will go into a draw to win a holiday for two on Hamilton island.

If you have not paid by 31 May 2020 your security access may be disabled until payment is received.

Staff changes

The Board and General Manager of the club continue to look to secure the future for the Club and it’s ability to deliver services for members. We face an incredibly challenging time which includes loss of some of our staff. On behalf of Club members, we sincerely thank Jackie Mercer, Office and Accounts Administrator, and Nic, Memberships and Communications Manager for their tremendous efforts during their time at WSC. Nic is leaving Sydney to join his family in California as soon as is feasible. We wish them both all the best.

The primary responsibility of the WSC staff and Board remains the health and safety of the WSC community and the Club is now operating as a storage facility only – please refer to the Club website for further details.
