Woollahra Sailing club has a dedicate and hard-working race management team who have considerable experience to draw upon and it is this professionalism that enables organisers of important events on the national and world stage to feel assured that their event is in good hands.
Knowledge gained from the many talented Woollahra sailors who have competed across the globe as to what works and what competitors appreciate also gives WSC the winning edge as an event host.
Sail Sydney Regatta

Nowhere is Woollahra Sailing Club’s event hosting capabilities more in evidence than the Annual Sail Sydney Regatta.
Sail Sydney began as a test event for the 2000 Olympics and has grown in recent years to become the dinghy event with the largest number of participants in the Southern hemisphere.
Now acknowledged as NSW’s premier dinghy racing event, it offers six days of high-class, adrenaline-filled racing for all dinghy classes.
Trow in the backdrop of the Sydney skyline, hundreds of competitions from across Australia and around the world and this is an event not to be missed.
Cock of the Harbour
February 9th 2020
The traditional Harbour race will be hosted again at Woollahra Sailing Club on 9th February (time TBC).
Duration: Approximately 3 hours. Course may be shortened if not complete within the time limit.
Course may vary on the day due to conditions.
