    Family Christodoulou

Our fondest memories come from the sea and sailing is an important part of our life. Marie is from France and first learned to sail on the Atlantic coast. She prefers offshore sailing. Demetris is from Cyprus who spent much of his childhood by the water. He prefers the challenge of dinghy sailing. Our two children who are born and raised here in Australia, Titouan and Marin, are proud members of

Rain, hail or shine Our Optis will dominate!

The 2021 Optimist NSW State Championships were held at the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club over the weekend of the 20th and 21st of March. Despite road-closures on the way to the regatta and torrential rain throughout the weekend, 6 races were completed and the event was a great success. Our young club sailors displayed great determination and enthusiasm despite the testing conditions! It was a terrific team to be representing the club!

    Opti Girls Clinic

It was so great to run a two-day girl camp with 18 super talented Optimist girls from all over Sydney at the club. We are also very grateful with the 18ft footer league for so very kindly getting involved. Big thanks go in particular to Jessica Crisp (4-time Olympian) for a very inspirational speech that kicked things off showing these girls how far they can take their sailing career.
