Sydney 2000 Olympic Sailor Visit
Eiichiro Hamazaki was a 27 years old athlete from the Japanese Olympic Team when he first visited Woollahra Sailing Club in the year 2000. He was training at WSC for the Sydney 2000 Olympics and for the first time, after almost twenty years, Eiichiro is back to Sydney.
This Thursday he had the courtesy to visit our Club and we were delighted to listen to his incredible story and beautiful experience here. He mentioned that the Club was a place to meet, share, sail and overall prepare for the Olympics, with a great spirit and vibrant atmosphere. We are glad Woollahra Sailing Club gave him and other athletes the opportunity to enjoy their time in Sydney.
We are glad he came to visit us and we hope that more Sydney 2000 athletes will be coming to say hi in the future.
