Term 4 2022 Sunday Afternoon Kids Learn to Sail (Tackers) 7 to 11yrs
Saturday Morning Tackers programs are running from 1:30pm to 4pm for 8 sessions
Sunday Afternoon Tackers is limited to Tackers 2 and 3 only to run alongside our racing programs. Numbers are extremely limited and sailors must be confident to sail on their own to join this these programs.
Which Tackers Level Should I Book?
Tackers is a fun introductory, games-based sailing program designed for kids aged 7-12 yrs. Kids don't need to have any sailing experience or club membership to participate. All the equipment, including the boats, is provided. Our instructors are qualified by Australian Sailing our governing sporting body.
Tackers 1 is the first level of Tackers and is perfect for kids with little or no experience in sailing. Tackers 1 Sailors begin by sailing 2 per boat and learning the basics of sailing and boat safety. On completion of Tackers 1, instructors will advise whether or not a sailor is ready to commence Tackers 2. NO TACKERS 1 SUNDAY AFTERNOONS
Tackers 2 is the second level of Tackers and is designed for sailors who have completed Tackers 1 outcomes. Tackers 2 Sailors begin to learn how to confidently sail on their own in a boat. On completion of Tackers 2, instructors will advise whether or not a sailor is ready to commence Tackers 3.
Tackers 3 is the third level of Tackers and is designed for sailors who have completed Tackers 2 outcomes. Tackers 3 Sailors start to focus on sailing fast and advanced boat handling skills. On completion of Tackers 3, instructors will advise whether or not a sailor is ready to commence Green Fleet or Green Adventure programs.

Nonmembers Regular: $720pp
Members Early Bird: $620pp (Until 15th September 2022)
