Well done to all Woollahra Sailing Club members who attended the regatta last weekend, especially the Green Fleet, as it was their first one. The sailors performed outstandingly as they battled the 20 knots southerly change.
Jago Tucker won the 11 and under and Jacob Marks came 4th. Please click here to display all results.
It was definitely the best turnout at an away regatta by WSC for the last 6 years.
This week has seen the departure of the Shark Island Paddler’s and Woollahra Sailing Club duo Jules Hall, and David Jepson to represent their country in France at the World Championships. Our hearts and best wishes for speedy victory go with them as they deal with the vicissitudes of wind, waves and the foreign foe. Not only are they representing our country, they are paying for their own wee little Aussie tracksuits and racing kit. Shame! Nonetheless they will be having a super time, they are expected to be excellent chances, and Ladies of France please be aware David is single. Meanwhile a review of the course can be seen on the following link.
This weekend will see the best Time Trial Ever! Stiff 25 knot Westerly winds are predicted. Please come join us! Hot showers shall follow.
