Junior Term 4 programmes

The Woollahra Sailing Club Junior Term 4 sailing school programmes commence on the weekend of 19 and 20 October.  Book now to secure your spot.

Kids Learn to Sail (Tackers) 7 -12 years old
The Tackers Learn to sail Programme is aimed at introducing children to sailing in a fun, safe, accessible and affordable way.
The programme offers children the opportunity to start on a pathway to ongoing involvement in clubs, gradually progressing through over several seasons.

Optimist green fleet
Green fleet is a club based junior (primary school age) sailing activity for kids who have completed the Tackers Programme (all 3 levels) or a similar junior learn to sail program.
Like most sports sailing recognises that primary school age kids are more likely to enjoy, and be retained in sport, if it is less competitive and more fun/games based and social. Most other sports used modified rules at this stage before progressing to the adult rules at the youth (secondary school) age group.

Good luck to our Junior Sailing manager Alex and to all our members heading to
