Set your event apart at the Woollahra Sailing Club located on the beautiful shores of Rose Bay. We have a variety of room options available to cater to your event needs.

Club Café Seated Space

The club café space is the perfect venue for barbecue socials and relaxed social events. The room has square wooden tables, black stools and the awning covered outdoor space has relaxed seating available for you to enjoy the calming ocean view. Please note there is limited availability on weekends.

Kitchen for caterers required?

The commercial kitchen features a gas stove, grill and oven, microwave and a dishwasher. Please note the kitchen is an add-on cost and is not included with room hires. Please contact for availability.

Club Meeting Room

A great venue for small business meetings, the club meeting room includes a boardroom table and chairs for 10 with a beautiful view of Sydney harbor.

Club Function Room

Our 80m2 club function room boasts spectacular views of Sydney Harbour and is the ideal venue for birthdays, wedding receptions, social functions, business meetings and more. The room has a carpeted area, a dance floor space and guests can spill out on to the spacious veranda to enjoy the views.

Set on the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, the Club is just 15 minutes from the city CBD. William Street, Bayswater Road and New South Head Road provide the main route to the Club.

You can catch a bus or taxi from either Edgecliff or Bondi Junction, or if you’d rather travel by water, take a ferry to Rose Bay Public Wharf – or water taxi to our private jetty!


There is a large, free public car park right next door to the club. Unrestricted after-hours parking is also available on New South Head Road

Want to book?

Bookings can be made up to 12 months in advance. We will always try to accommodate your requests, function bookings come with a complimentary two hour set up time prior to your event start time. Evening functions must conclude by 12am so the premises can be cleaned and locked up by 1am. For all functions which run past 9pm WSC will provide mandatory security personnel for a set fee.

  • What you bring in, must be brought out
  • Catering is the responsibility of the hirer
  • Audio visual equipment is also the responsibility of the hirer
